'Time To Work...'

Here's an art update from me. *WHOA!*

This is my demon hunter, Keiken. I'll post the bio I wrote for him here to help explain just who he is:

Name: Keiken Boushi / Boushi Keiken
Age: 45
Sex: Male
Height: 5’9
Occupation: Demon Hunter
Background: Keiken Boushi was born the son of a great demon hunter, Toku Boushi. His mother died giving birth to him, so Keiken was brought up by his father alone, learning the harshness of life at an early age and the ways of demon slaying. However, despite all of the horror and death involved, Toku made sure that his son knew the differences between right and wrong alongside compassion. It was this compassion that would be his father’s undoing. Toku happened to meet an old friend of his, Katsuya, a fellow demon hunter known to be deadly as she was beautiful. They rekindled their friendship, and Toku let his guard down. The demon Naraku revealed himself after impaling Toku through the stomach, laughing and gloating how the legendary demon hunter couldn’t tell Naraku had eaten her and taken her form. Keiken rushed to his father’s aide, only to have his eye slashed, permanently blinding it and forcing him to wear a sword guard for an eye patch. Naraku fled before Keiken could attempt to avenge his father and despite his best efforts, Toku passed on to the next life. Swearing revenge against the demon that took everything from him, Keiken took to wandering around Japan, slaying demons and helping those in need. Eventually he would cross paths with an old monk by the name of Soulstone and they became fast friends, and Soulstone took it upon himself to help Keiken in his quest for justice.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Being on the old side for a demon hunter, Keiken’s opponents generally tend to underestimate his strength and skill. Having been trained by his father, Keiken was already a master demon slayer and combatant, wielding his lajatang Jougen (Crescent Moon) with perfect mastery. However, his true weapon lies in his wakazashi Kurushimi (suffering). Keiken’s true power comes out when he wields this wakizashi, as he doesn’t have the weight of Jougen slowing him down and he is free to move at surprising speed and agility. Keiken’s an excellent hand to hand combatant, especially thanks to the training he received with Soulstone (he doesn’t like to talk about it. Very painful.) Keiken’s age gets the better of him however, as he has the disadvantage of being stubborn in his ways at times, and not as spry as he used to be. Keiken’s sense of justice and honor can be used against him as well, as he will never sacrifice a life unless it is his own. Keiken also has a weakness for sake, never passing a chance to get a jug or simply one sip when not training or hunting demons.
Trivia:
Both of Keiken’s weapons are blessed and were made to be incredibly durable. Jougen was the weapon of his father Toku, and has slain many demons during the time that Toku and his son have both owned it. Jougen is a single bladed lajatang with a crescent moon blade on one side only. Kurushimi was given to him by his father once he began demon slaying at twelve, and has served him well over the years of combat Keiken has faced. Kurushimi is a wakazashi with a circular hilt guard and blue wrapping around the hilt. Kurshimi is Keiken’s preferred weapon, but out of respect for his father and the fact it was his father’s weapon and has proven incredibly useful Keiken uses Jougen in honor of his father.
