'Here We Are...'

"...Fight us now."

The quote came to me as I finished it and decided to submit it to DA. Megatron saying it in Dark of the Moon came to mind. And I may be saying it wrong. Lol.

Here is Stone and his minions. Stone (center), as those who follow me know, is the evil/alternate Earth counterpart to my hero OC Zack Alexander. I decided it was time to try and sketch his minions, the alternates of Zack's friends Marcus, Blur and Obsidian Knight/Whatever name he chooses for the week. Lol.

On the upper left is Nosferatu, the alternate to Marcus. As Marcus is a shapeshifting vampiric being, Nosferatu can also shapeshift. However, the battle with Stone left him looking like a mixture of a man and a bat. He's generally bound in chains and shackles and I tried to show that here. I know it's kinda blah but I wanted to fit them all on the same page, so I had to sacrifice some things.

On the lower left/bottom is The Iron Golem, the alternate to Obsidian Knight. Whereas both Golem and Knight are geniuses with mechanics and wear robotic combat suits, Golem is forced to wear his. When Golem fought Stone as he rose to power, Stone broke him to the point that he needs his suit just to live. It is a walking life support system that can size change and has limitless capability for weaponry. It is a big and bulky monster of a suit, and Golem has tailored it to look more fearsome to help him achieve respect and intimidation in fights. He is a mad scientist and holds no value to human life or anyone else's but his own. He would gladly leave his 'friends' to die if it meant his survival. He has tried numerous times to betray Stone, and all times end in failure. Stone keeps him around because he has his uses, and he can sometimes be a decent sparring partner before Stone gets bored and decides to tear his suit apart. I wanted to make it look less streamlined and human and more like a big monster, and some friends have told me it favors a Zaku from Gundam. Well, that's fine, I like Zakus. Lol.

And last in the right corner we have Mirage, the counterpart to Blur. Both are speedsters, but where Blur has an upbeat personality and is a good guy, Mirage isn't. After he fought Stone's rise to power, Stone turned him into one of his slaves and future soldiers. The mark on his face was burned into his flesh by Stone's laser vision, a constant reminder of his defeat. Mirage is incredibly fast and has enough strength to stand against someone like Zack for a short time.

Mirage and Golem enjoy being evil and don't care what happens to anyone in their way so long as they can avoid Stone's wrath. Nosferatu on the other hand is treated little more than the pet monster, so he longs for things to be like they once were and for some kindness to be shown his way.

Anyway, I hope everyone digs their designs. Maybe I'll draw them some more in the future. Please comment (especially if you fave this) and let me know what you think!
